Default Oil leak via pcv system

Hi, my car is a 93 honda accord LX, A/T

a problem i have is that there are signs of oil where the pcv valve is and where both ends of tube that connects the air intake tube and the valve cover. it should not be the valve cover seal or boot seal. Below is a reply i found after doing a search on PCV valve, perhaps it may have sth to do with my case.

You better hiope is the PCV valve, otherwise is known as "Piston Rings Blowout". Compression is leaking thru the Pistong Rings pushing the oil up to crankcase. This is bad news. Rebuild engine if Engine Restore oil treatmernt dont do the trick after a few hundred miles. Its sold in Advance and Auto Zone auto parts.

Remove the air intake duct and inspect downstream of the PCV air intake port. If it is covered in oil/dirt, you may have a problem. Some dirt/oil is inevitable. When the throttle is floored, vacuum to the PCV drops and blowby overwhelms the crankcase resulting in some reverse flow from crankcase into air intake.

Make sure your PCV is clean and rattles when shaken. Clean w/ throttle body cleaner or replace. Make sure the PCV hoses are clean and open.

I doubt you have a problem. If engine is running fine, you should be OK. Some oil stains are not unusual as I said as there is always oil in the crankcase blowby.

good luck

Loose hose clamps?
Cracked or deteriorating hose near those places?
PCV valve too lose in the valve cover? (If so get new grommet.)
