Default Oil pan gasket changed

Hi, I just changed my oil pan gasket and had trouble removing the transmission dust cover for 93 Honda Accord SE. Now I'm having alot of trouble reinstalling it. It uses 3 small bolts. Also I'm not sure if I overtightened the pan bolts. I didn't use a torque wrench. Minimun drops of oil drip out, I'm guessing It's pooled oil. Any suggestions thanks. Steve!

well whatever is in the way, try removing it to reinstall dust cover.

and for the oil seepage. do you clean the gasket mating surfaces? wipe down both the pan and block before reinstallation?

the bolts dont need to be super tightened. its easy to over tighten and warp the pan or strip the threads.

if pan is warped, use a ball peen hammer to straighten it back out
