Oil Plug/Filter Leak
I'm embarrassed to have to ask, but I changed the oil in my 09 accord and 11 odyssey last week (for the first time personally.) Both have small oil leaks. When I inspected, the leaks are coming from both the drian plug and the oil filter. I torqued the plugs to spec and the filters by hand when I did the oil change. So I tightened all of them. There is still some leakage.
Dumb question: should I put a new gasket on the oil drain plugs EVERY time I change the oil?

I'm pretty sure the OEM washers are crush washers, so technically you should replace them. I've reused them in the past and didn't have issues.
You want to avoid overtightening and stripping the oil pan bolt.
For the oil filter, check that the old gasket didn't stick when removing. You can pull the filter and make sure the mating surface is clean and smooth to ensure a good seal.
