Just bought a 92accord with 150k miles for $2300 last night. This morning I noticed that that there is oil in all 4 plug wires. I have read that it is most likely the tube seal under the valve cover.
Questions are:
Is this a big hazard for the engine?
What can be the results if not fixed?
Should this be fixed asap?
How long can I drive in this state?

Car runs good, no misfiring & no hardstarting.

I read some of the maintainence recs. & it shows valve cover gasket including tube seals were replaced Feb. 2005.
Maybe they did not do a good job!
Budget is kinda limited so if it is not a major concern I will put off for a few months (while monitoring the engine oil level carefully).

just watch your oil level and it should be ok. Also, there is a full write up from deserthonda on replacing those yourself... just do a search or look through the forum there is GREAT information on how to do that cheap...

that's the link.. however if you look at the posts at the top of this section you'll see "oil in spark plug wires" how to fix.... *L* don't worry it's easy to do and fairly cheap
