I changed my oil in my Accord, ( 2006 Honda Accord 4 cyl ) and I had bought a five quart container , ( Mobil1 10W30 Synthetic ) then when I started pouring the new oil in I forgot I was changing my Honda not my Taurus which holds five quarts of oil. I poured all of the 5 qts in.
Is the .4 qt oil too much or will it be ok??

if you did the capacity is 4.4 quarts so it is just over 1/2 qt overfilled
if you did not capacity is 4.2 qt s .almost a full qt overfilled..........
,,,,,,,,,,,,, if it would make you feel more at ease drain a little out ...........if you replaced the filter at the same time i would not bother with it
