Default Parasitic Battery Drain 08 Accord

I’m at a loss trying to fix this car. We’ve switched out the starter and ignition switch. It is an 2008 Honda Accord. Had it tested at a auto zone and they said they think it’s a parasitic drain on my battery. As much as I’d love to drop 80-100 an hour to find the issue, I’d rather not. Right now, my car starts strong for about a week, week and a half, then the following week the starts get weaker, until a cold night and my car won’t start at all. When the car is turned off, no key, the radio will sometimes switch on. But today after a friend tested my alternator, the clock isn’t on when I turn off my car and it hasn’t switched back on. Should I just disconnect the radio and call it a day? Auto zone did also mention maybe it was a tension belt as well

That is a tough call on what to do. You should test to narrow down the component(s) drawing current.

If you have a volt meter that can read current, then we can give you some directions how to identify the problem.

Do the test. Disconnect the radio and see if it solves the problem over this next month.
