Question partial backlit outage problem

2004 2-door exl 4-cylinder automatic acquired recently with 180k miles

I notice these convenient backlit buttons are totally dark at night

3 in-a-row moonroof switches
all audio control buttons on steering wheel
all cruise control buttons on steering wheel
passenger side seat heating switch (strange thing - the driver side seat heating switch is still lit)

All other instruments and control buttons on dashboard seem to function and lit ok, and the gear indicator under the shifter is also lit.

What is wrong? Is there a fuse for just these few buttons? I don't seem to find any info in the user's manual. I have hit the wrong cruise buttons at night before, so really would like to correct this small problem. Thanks

I had the same problem on my TSX (basically the same car as yours). You have to replace the bulbs.

Here is a thread talking about the bulbs to buy.

The moonroof switch and seat heater switch have bulbs like PAhonda stated, and probably need replacement.

For the steering wheel audio remote switch and cruise control buttons on the steering wheel, the electrical circuit diagrams does not show any bulb or LED. So, those may not be lit on your car.
