Passenger window only won't operate, power to switch and new motor - HELP!!!
1997 Honda Accord Coupe LX 2.2 4 Cyl Engine
Problem area passenger window
My window stopped working when it was in a half way down position. Neither switch works to operate the window. I replaced the whole motor and regulator, that did not work. I replaced the fuse to the window.. There is power to the switch and power to the motor when I operate the switch. There is no sound when I operate the switch, and the window doesn't move at all, even with assistance.
Where do I go from here? Since neither switch works, I am hesitant to replace the switch, especially since there is power from the switch to the motor. I already replaced the motor and had no luck. Anybody wanna help me out with a next step?

HAHAHA, Yea, that one caught me years ago. Was about to go to dealer & make a warranty claim, then I realized I had that thing switched off. DUH!
(well, it WAS the first car I owned with power windows...)

I registered to post this, hope it's helpful. I was working on an 01 civic and had the same issue -suddenly one window refused to operate no matter what. I did the same as you and replaced the regulator and got nothing out of it. THEN i took a motorcycle battery and shorted it to the regulator power leads and it sprung to life and rolled right up! Then I did the same thing to the one that I broke while removing it and it also rolled up, regrettably. So I wasted $100 replacing the regulator.
It ended up being the driver's master window switch group, and I picked up a new one on Amazon for $25.
Try to run the window up with a battery. If it works great, then it's your main switch. The way Honda wires these things, if one switch shorts out / dies shut, then the other switch cannot operate. it will also drain your battery to ground, or at least mine did.

Check for loose ground wires/connection going through on the driver's side C417 connector too.
If the main switch is turned ON at the driver's master control switch and it's still not working, a possibility may be the ground on the driver's side.
