Exclamation possible clutch issues???

hey i have a 97 lx 5 speed.

so the clutch is pretty new, shifts great through 1-5 and reverse, driving is not the problem, besides the fact that i may need a mount soon, hard to explain, kind of like the herky jerk you get when your not timing shifts correctly.

anyway, when i first start the car and disengege the clutch the car will drop idle but this is barely noticable, you have to be paying attention to notice. the real reason im posting is that say i park the car and put it in nuetral i let off the clutch and i hear a small clunck once again not bad, also happens when i go to take off in first gear, unless i baby the clutch.

can this be due to a bad trans mount? low fluid? or...

like i said it drives fine just wondering...

Well, checking the mounts and changing the fluid should be done on a regualar basis.....start there.
Have someone press the clutch while you watch the crnak pulley for movement...in and out...
If nothing, not a good answer but keep driving and see if it "grows up"...

thanks poorman,

yea, i know i should have all the fluids changed when you get a new car, and all the other fluids were low when i checked them, so i filled them up accordingly and there holding for now, its been about a month since i got the car so ill be doing changes and what not in a few days.
also, i looked in the helms manual, no mention of the crank pulley can you tell me where it is located, and you mean starts working whe you say grows up right
