I have a 99 Honda Accord EX Coupe, V6, 3.0L and I'm thinking there might be a problem with the automatic transmission. When I give it gas, it will rev high with little power, then shift hard and jerk when it goes to the next gear. It does not shift smoothly at all.
Would this be a transmission problem? Would I need a new transmission?

There is an extended warranty on those transmissions.
Don't shoot the messenger.....but those transmissions [98-02] are known to have problems.
