Default Power steering sealing boot!

Supprisingly found that my 97 accord (auto. DX)P.S. sealing boot broken. There is some oil at the crack surface. Is the oil normal or it means there is leaking of my P.S. fluid? But didn't see any drop of the P.S. fluid. From the service manual, it sounds there should not be any oil inside the boot and it is only for sealing. Should I replace the boot immediately? How much it usually takes if I went to a shop to do it?

Are you talking about the big bellows (#11 & 12)? Those don't hold fluid, but there's probably grease from the rack. I'd replace them pretty quick, because getting dirt in there isn't good. If you wait too long you'll be replacing the rack instead.
