Default pressure bleed brakes?

I recently purchased a 1990 Accord EX and replaced the master cylinder withiut bench bleeding it first. I know! If I have the system pressue bled, will that get the air out of the master? Thanks for your help.

Default RE: pressure bleed brakes?

Pressure bleeding is good, but any type ofbleeding will work if you are careful. I use the traditional, pump & bleed, which is a form of pressure bleeding. If you mean forcing fluid from the reservoir w/ a pressure cap and pump, this is a good method if you have the equipment, but is not essential.

Suction bleeding suffers from tendency for air to enter around suction connection to bleeder or around the bleeder threads themselves. Still, w/ care you can bleed the brakes using suction bleeding also.

good luck

if it takes a lont time and pedal does not respond you need to bleed it first at the brake master by loosening up the 2 lines going into the brake master cylinder
