Default Problem with starting '00 accord v6

I have a problem with starting my car, intermittently I crank it up and then it dies, or I crank it up it goes down the road for like 10 seconds then feels like its not getting gas. I shove the gas petal in alittle most then whoosh, all the power comes back. If it's stalling after cranking I can gas it for about a minute and then everything works fine. It's almost like the o2 sensors are reading a lean condition and kick all the gas in. The car has a new main relay and iacv, didn't help any but it idles good now when it's warm. I'm thinking maybe a vaccume leak to the fuel pressure regulator or something. It did give a lean random missfire code one time it did this, but it usually doesn't throw a code. Any ideas?

Cold engine does not use O2 sensors to set fuel/air mix.

Problem appears to more likely be a fuel delivery (main fuel relay or fuel pump), but could also be a air intake system leak causing overly lean condition during cold engine operation.

If you intend to diagnose, the following link may be helpful, otherwise you need professional help.

good luck

Are the dash lights dim before you rev the engine or have you seen the battery light flicker on and off? It may be that the alternator is failing. If not then diagnose fuel and spark.

Thats exactly what i was saying its cold, the o2 sensors aren't working, the car isn't getting enough gas. Then as soon as the car gets warm enough, instantaneously the gas and power kicks back on. I'm thinking it's a lean condition because it threw a code for that one time when it did it really bad. It only does it sometimes, but i just put a new main relay in it cause it felt like a main relay problem. This did not help.

An obd2 scanner w/ capapbility to output important engine data might allow some insight.

Long Term Fuel Trim (LTFT) can indicate whether a lean or rich condition is occurring. Engine inlet Air Temp, Coolant Temp, may indicate a problem.

good luck

Just so I'm clear. Does this issue happen on a cold start - the car has sat for at least 3 hours. Or does this happen on a "warm/hot" re-start - car has been running and at normal op temp, turn the car off and then re-start in about ~20 minutes.
