Quick debate - I have a UK Gen 6 2002 Accord Sport and the LCD odometer display is cream crackered - Sorry, not working very well to say the least! It keeps showing only half the pixels e.t.c. number 8 appears as an 3 and an 4 appears as 1 e.t.c anyway....to the point! The whole speedo instrument cluster has to be changed to rectify this matter. I've been searching ebay and found a few sets that meet my requirements but have asked the sellers the question about the mileage on the units. One ebayer has replied to me that the ecu holds the cars mileage not the clocks, and that he is a honda technician! In other words i can buy his clocks and they will show my mileage..... however another ebayer says that his clocks have x amount of miles on them. Does the unit hold the mileage or the ecu? If i replace my clocks will they show the correct mileage of my car?!
