What Honda dealership sometimes do for interior rattles, etc.; is to apply felt tape that has an adhesive backing around parts that causes the rattle, squeak, etc..

 

Thank you. The rattle is gone. I placed a rubbery window seal product in between the plastic and the metal and that stopped the rattle immediately. I was going to take apart the next layer of the dash, but decided not to. I figured I might create more rattles. The window seal had a sticky side, so I put that against the metal and put everything back together. ALL DONE - FIXED! If the rattle comes back, I know where to find it, but I don't think it will.
