hearing noises. need help

Get a helper & open the hood. When turning the wheel (to make the noise) listen up front to pinpoint the location.
Power steering belt is the more common source of the noise. You can check that by squirting a little water on the belt & see if it gets quiet. Fix is probably get a new belt.
If the sound comes from down at the wheel, then it's probably a balljoint seizing. Get that replaced before the wheel falls off. Fortunately this one is less common.
