Default rear motor mount vacuum ?

Hi all. Had the rear mount leaking fluid so had it replaced. Mechanic put chepo part on that has no vacuum assit to solenoid. Throttle now sticks heavily at idle. Any thoughts?

Sounds like 2 separate problems. Sticky throttle shouldn't be related to the engine mount. Clean the throttle plate & throttlebody bore. Use spray cleaner & a toothbrush (preferably someone else's toothbrush).

With an automatic trans, that vacuum-operated mount is supposed to work like this...
- Solenoid opens & mount gets real soft when idling in DRIVE or REVERSE.
- Solenoid closed & mount is normal-stiffness all other times.

So that mount would result in excessive vibrations while idling in D or R.
