I have a 91 Accord EX wagon but never got a remote key to work the power door locks.

Tuesday night I stopped to help a lady who was stuck in a snow bank durring a bad storm and left my car running with my dog inside. Some probably know the rest of the story!

So I get the lady unstuck and she takes off and I go to get in my car and the dog locked me out. No cell signal at all and I am in the middle of nowhere with very little chance of another car driving down my road.

I ended up busting the little vent window of the rear door and got in and home.

So I do have what I think are the codes for the keys written in the front of my owners manual. I am hoping I can buy one of the remote keys and get it programmed for my car and then just keep the flat key I have now in my wallet for emergencies like this.

What do I need to know to buy the correct remote key and get it programmed?

Does anyone have a 1991-1993 wagon parts car with a nice little triangle window they don't need??? LOL
