Hey everyone. I have a 97 honda accord SE that I want to put a very basic "install friendly" remote starter in. I have the keyless entry, so if I could use that remote that would be great, but not a must have. I want it for winter to warm up the car first and I want it for cheap. I've seen some with a wiring harness you just clip in, and others that only an engineer could install and I'm no engineer. Any suggestions? How would my security system (stock factory system) figure into all this? Thanks!

 

if its an auto, i would just buy an off the shelf system...i know its another fob, but it would be way easier.

there was a thread regarding this a while ago...no one had much input on it.
