Default Removal of quick conect fitting on Fuel tank of a 96 Accord

Hi Guys changing out a rotted fuel tank on my late 95 Accord Lx and all was going well until I ran into this silly quick conect fitting! Does anyone know how to remove this without destroying it? Or is there another solution? I need to get this thing back on the road today so if anyone know It would be greatly appriciated!
Thanks

You can download the service manual supplement for the 96 Accord for the instructions and illustrations (Section 11-60 of supplement). The service manual supplement link is available at the sticky labeled "Common DIY and Other Info. Threads" at the top of this forum section.

Yea I figured it out it was so loaded with dirt that it would not move. I soaked it in liquid wrench and used a small screw driver to dig the dirt out and finally it moved and I was able to get it apart. It took more time to get that silly quick connect appart than it took to do the whole job lol! Great idea however once they corroad they are all done and so are you Lol!!!
