Default repair codes reset

hey all - I own a 2008 2.4 L.....It is giving me the repair code "B12" as well as a "oil life 20%" which I understand is the computer telling me I need a brake check, tire rotate, cabin air filter replacement, and oil change. I am newer to working on my own vehicles, but am planning on doing all of these tasks by myself. After I complete the repairs, I am going to need to reset the repair codes - any idea on how to do this myself? I am trying to avoid the dealer/shop fee of about $70......Thanks in advance

JB

I moved your thread, please read the forum rules and watch where you post. Do not post help questions in the DIY section.

You would press and hold the same select/reset button (trip odometer, oil life, etc.) on the instrument gauge to reset the maintenance codes.

The info. is in the owner's manual. If you don't have it, go to American Honda owner's link and register to get the on-line manual.
