Default Reset Maint Required indicator?

Hi

I have a 2004 Accord 6 speed coupe. The car is driven seldom and has less then 10,000 miles on it.
I only get maintenance on it rarely.

Recently I took it in to get it serviced and for the first time not to the Honda dealer.

Afterwards I noticed that the Maintenance Required button is still on.

Is there a way to reset this myself?

Or do I just leave it on until the next time I change the oil in the spring and take it to the dealer?

Mike

if you had a 4th Gen Accord i would be able to help you out (it's easy on mine) but the newer ones they seem to change how to reset them often and it's been too long since i worked at the Honda dealership to remember how to do it. i'm sure someone here will chime in that does know how to do it. Good luck.
