hey i think i might have a simmilar problem. when i go to start my car after sitting and cooled off for several hours and go to start it up the idle is realy high. it starts up and the rpms are at like 3k for a good 5 min untill its warmed up and then it drops to just under 1. is there a way to adjust that or is there a problem? also its an auatomatic and when i shift between R, P and Drive it takes about 2 sec to fully engage and jerks the whole car. whats the deal??

 

mine has a similar problem, going from P to D. i just wait for it to fully engage and im good to go!

 

same with mine but it dint always do it. is it fixable or just aging?

 

Just hope it's not the valve body going! My girlfriend's was like that. Also, the motor mounts were so shot that when you were in D or R with your foot on the brake stopped, the steering wheel shook like a freakin' earthquake.

 

gave it a tune up today, minus the gas filter, and A LOT of the vibes are gone. all OE Honda parts.

 

so yeah, the vibes came back......what gives?

i have yet to clean the throttle body and sensors, but for whatever reason i guess its just the nature of the beast.
