Rough idle in reverse or drive
Just bought this 17 accord 2.4 with cvt and 95k on the clock. found after purchase. rough idle in drive and reverse not while driving at speeds, I checked the trans mount that’s fine. roughness gets worse with ac on still there with ac off. I think the trans is going out but it’s not slipping. The trans hasn’t had a service sense 0miles. Is my transmission going out or should I start with ac compressor due to roughness getting worse with ac found no ac compressor pulley shacking?Engine shakes with vehicle off not enough to feel it in park while checking engine bay. (Edit) just finished flushing the trans fluid and the rough idle went away. If your Honda cvt hasn’t had a trans flush in more than 30k flush the trans fluid and that may solve the problem there is still torque converter shutter or similar but this solved my problem!
