Search function doesn't work. I tried.

I have not personally removed any seals, but what I have heard from others is use of small sharp screwdriver, long wood screw/s screwed into seal, oring pick, or other tool to pry or pull the seal out. Care must be taken to avoid scratching the sealing surfaces.

I like the idea of two screws on opposite sides to gradually pull the seal out, but again I haven't done this.

FWIW, I think removal of a non-leaking seal may is questionable. You are asking to create a problem. These are not a maintenance item to my knowledge.

good luck

Not sure your meaning. I simply meant my search function doesn't work and perhaps the original posters doesn't either.

I understand what you meant .... what I'm saying is that finch created a temporary search for members to use that actually does work. There is a link to it in his profile.

Finch's search
