Default seat help

after getting my seats fixed for some tears in them i noticed my drivers seat rocks back and forth a bit an inch or so. I'm wondering is this normal or are there some bolts i need to tighten down?

sounds like a bolt's loose, there should be one on each corner of the seat, if it rocks really easily you may be able to figure out which ones are loose with your fingers

list stated - could be loose seat bolts. i've done it once..heh...

however, what year?

certain years have a defect in teh seat track - a bushing in the height mechanism fails and the seat rocks.

you might have a lifetime warranty on the seat height bushing/support kit, but i need your vin number to look it up.

did you check if the four bolts holding the seat to the car were tight?

does it feel only like a front to back looseness or side to side looseness?

the main bolts holding the seat are tight, and the rocking is only front to back, all the seat adjustments work fine, i can move the seat where i want it to. i'll get you my vin number later when i dig my car out of the snow. and is the lifetime warranty covering multiple owners? beacue as far as i know im the second owner.

it should be, it all depends if your VIN is covered. otherwise you can buy the parts for probably $30 and do it on your own with instructions if you want.

you won't see it, it's a bushing. you'll need to remove a few nuts to find the bushings. they are form fitted, so only new replacement bushings will fit it. the rocking shouldn't be all that bad, just noticeable seat movement when braking or accelerating. if it's worse than that you might find something broken underneath.
