Smile Setting Tension on Drivers Safety Belt

The safety belt on the driver's seat doesn't retract properly, so that many times I try to close the door, only to find the safety belt or fastening clip in the way.

Can a Honda dealer re-tension the belt? I would guess, if do-able, it should be a 1 hour job, which I'd pay the $75 or $85 labor charge for.

I thought that all safety belt equipment has a lifetime warranty, so check if warranty is available. I have similar problem w/ my 94EX. I think there may be a TSB on this issue. Make sure they check for a TSB.

good luck
