Default sharp grinding/ squealing to front end??

I have a'90 accord ex that over the last couple of days has been making a sharp grinding squealing noise to drivers front area.. mainly when steering wheel turned l or r, and when a hit lrg. bumps when driving? Was thinking bushings being out, and also considered cv joint.. Goingto check this next weekend. Any other ideas???

BTW would like to think everyone on the forum for all the trouble shooting and repair info... Has been a great help with this accord.. Everything that has gone wrong and been repaired has been done by myself w/ servidce manual and forum info.. Better then any shop, and 1/5 the cost!!! Not to mention that if I break down on the side of the road, i generall can redneck engineer something to get her home..

When I get done putting her the way i want, will post pics... She is a gradual restore and modifing job.. w/ 300k mls on her.. compression is great, trans smooth, and no other major problems then what is mentioned above.

Default RE: sharp grinding/ squealing to front end??

you might want to raise the car up and chk all the suspension parts, make sure nothing is broken or loose or a bushing missing

chk the backing plate make sure it is not hitting the rotor
