Shift solenoid identification 2000 accord 2.3

I took off the linear solenoid to check the pipes for debris as you mention, but it was all clean including the screens inside the pipes.
The linear solenoid I have does appear a little older. I'm wondering if the solenoid itself is going or the spools inside are hanging up when it's cold. From what I understand these control the pressure being applied to the clutches inside the trans, no?
Can anyone advise replacing it? It's an expensive shot in the dark to just replace using guesswork.
My trans fluid has never been discolored or had any debris in it. I changed it about a month ago (drain/run/refill 4 times) as a precaution but it change anything. Not sure what's going on here but it's annoying, the trans now has 27k miles since rebuild.

I took off lockup/solenoid A but there was no debris in the screens either, it all looked perfect. I guessing the issue I'm having is from an electrical problem with either the linear solenoid or the lock/shift A solenoid.
Any more opinions?

I have a 2000 Honda Accord that has issues shifting into 1st when the weather is cold. After it warms up there no problem shifting. I believe it is the shift solenoid. However, I do not know which one controls the shift into 1st gear. Can anyone help?

Kpruitt - Sounds like this could be a few things.
When was the last time the fluid was changed in the trans. Also know that non Honda trans fluid will cause issues when cold.....slow shifting ect. Another reason I always suggest that people use only Honda fluid when they change their auto trans fluid.
Next, your issue sounds a bit different....not going into gear vs a shifting issue. There is a long chart showing the clutch shift solenoids and which one is on when the car is going thru different things. Best to just test the clutch pressure control solenoids.

Searched, noone answered
Has anyone figured out if the Keihin solenoids and Denso Solenoids are interchangeable for Shift A and Shift B? I am about to order some for my 98 Accord (2.3) and running into the same parts listings.
