I have a 2009 Honda Accord LX, 4 door, 4 cylinder, 40000 miles on it.

Yesterday, the side airbag indicator light came on and stayed on for 15 minutes.

Once home, I started the car 30 minutes later, drove it around and the indicator light is no longer on. Same thing driving to work and lunch today, indicator is no longer on.

Does anybody know why the Side Airbag indicator would come on for 15 minutes? Is this anything to be concerned about?

Check your warranty booklet. I think the seatbelts & airbags have a MUCH longer warranty than the overall "bumper-to-bumper" warranty.
