So I've noticed recently that on the passenger seat, whenever anyone leans towards the door, on the side airbag, the side airbag light comes lights up on the dash. If I just push on it a little bit it will light up too. Is this normal? It doesnt seem to happen on the drivers seat. Not really a big deal, just wondering if this is common and something I should get checked out.

Yep, it depends on the weight in the seat. I used to set off the light all da time.

 

My backpack that I take to work sets off that light.
