Does the volume **** on OEM 6-disc CD in 2004 illuminate at night? I'm new to the car and noticed everything on the stereo is backlit, except for the big volume ****. Car has dual-climate control (don't know if that makes a difference).

it should ,,, well mine does. ...
There's a light ring around the **** and power button in the middle lights up as well.

As for the fix ,,, maybe a bad LED ,,,
my advice , best live with it

 

if it's still under warranty take it in to the dealer....
