Smoking
Heres a stretch- both the ac and coolant are mixing at the heater and theres an internal coolant leak at the same time.
I really have no idea, thats the only connection it would all have...maybe the two aren't related.

Definitely plausible. Especially depending on what you used to clean the EGR. Seafoam by any chance?
When you recharged the AC it put a load on the engine which caused the stuff to burn up quicker. Drive the car around and see if it goes away.

I cleaned the egr passage. It was completely clogged..
I used a brush, screw driver, piece of wire and some throttle body cleaner.
I did drive it around a bit afterwards, but never noticed it smoking..
It wasn't smoking at the first part of the a/c recharge, during the middle is when it started smoking... After driving a bit, the smoke went away, but I notice the smoke every once in awhile, but nothing as bad as the day it was sitting idle while putting ez chill in it.
I'm thinking (hoping) maybe one of these chunks of crud that was in the passage finally made its way down and started being burned off.
I haven't put any cleaner in the fuel system at all.

If no smoking at steady highway speed and begins to smoke w/ prolonged idle, and/or smokes heavily on acceleration after a prolonged idle, the valve stem seals are likely leaking.
good luck
good luck
