Spark plug numbering- PLease Help!!

#1 is always at the front pulley. #4 is always at the flywheel end of the engine.
Firing order has to be 1-3-4-2.
That leaves WHICH post of the distributor is #1... Honda traditionally embosses something like the letter "A" there, but that may be for later years??
