It sounds like the rebuilt starter is bad out of the box.

If it were me, I would order one from denso. Densoaftermarket.com is where I start to get a part number. When it arrives, I would take the new starter back to AZ.

I've already taken the AZ one back, the one I have in there now came from NAPA and its doing the same thing. I found 2 used from a honda boneyard (original not rebuilt) and am going to test a hypothesis when they arrive.

basically I'm going to put a used starter in and see what that does since I have done everything else aside from taking it to the mechanic.

Quit playing around and actually do some testing.

Take off the small wire going to the starter and set it on the lower radiator hose. Using alligator leads, hook the red to that wire and the black to the negative post. Set your multimeter to the 20v setting. Again, make sure it is not attached to the starter or touching anything metal in any way shape or form.

Have someone try to start the car. See if that wire gets 10v or more. If not the issue is not the starter.

The power is fine, there isnt anything wrong with electrical system... and if you're going to scold me like a child then I would rather you not offer any more help.

I just replaced the starter on my 07ex 2.4-- Went with Oriellys lifetime warrenty, because thats what my favorite mechanic use's.. It's great, Now it turns over quickly, and starts every time, just what I was hoping for-- From Slow sluggish starter, to quick and strong.
The only thing is the Knock Sensor is right next to it. You need to be very careful, it's real easy to pull the small red wire out of the thing!! (dont' ask me how I know that)- It will mean a trip the junk yard's- Or a whole new wire Loom! -- Oh and on my 07 You can't get to the 10mm nut holding the hot wire from the battery to the starter on the starter-- Not until you remove the stater and turn it away form the steel pipe that's right above it....Lot of luck..It's a lot of trouble..
