Default starting issue with my 2000 ex

Just bought this 2000 accord ex and it just started having issues with starting. If the car has been sitting for an extended period it turns over but sometimes will not start. It also tends to lunge when shifting initially, but soon as it warms up it runs fine. I heard that transmission issues are common with this year, so I had the transmission fluid flushed and changed and plan on doing that every 25-30,000 miles from now on. But that should not be affecting the starting. Could this be a oxygen sensor issue or relay issue?

thanks

Default

Not-starting might be the Main Relay (search for that). That seems to happen when the interior of the car is hot.

Honda auto-trans do not like to be power-flushed. Drain & fill is the best way, and use Honda ATF rather than Dexron.
