Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this forum so I hope someone can help me out.
I have a 2005 Honda Accord and the illumination on my stereo does not work. I took it to a Honda Dealership and they told me that I would have to replace the whole stereo system.
The stereo still works but I can't tell which station I'm on or any of my A/C settings.
I've looked for a fuse problem but can't find any that are blown.
If anyone has had the same problem and found a solution other than replacing the whole stereo I would appreciate it.

It is probably a problem with the back light for the LCD. I know that 03 accords had this problem and believe that there was a service bulletin about it. The dealership should know about this.

If you have a radio/tv repair shop in the area, ask them for a quote on the repair. A google search might give you more details than I can provide.
