I have a 99 accord 4 cyl. Automatic. When the car is cold you have to push rather had when you first start to move which causes the car to lurch. But after driving it it get better. Anyone got any ideas?

Welcome and thanks for joining.

I'm going to move this to a place that will get you better answers.

I'd start with a good cleaning of the throttle body....a can of tb/carb cleaner, a few rags and an old tooth brush. Be sure to the the edge and back side of the butterfly. Also check the "spring" where the cable attaches...work it (full throttle, closed) and be sure it is not binding.

He moved it to the "General Tech Help" area. The "New Member" area is pretty much just for welcome & introduction threads.
