Default Stock and aftermarket stereo not working

I have a 1994 Accord LX and I've tried installing an aftermarket stereo in it and it and doesnt seem to want to work. It would turn on when i had it outside of the den but wouldnt play the audio unless i had it a certain way. I thought it was the deck so i got a new one shipped to me and now it wont turn on. Then i tried installing my origional factory deck back in and it wont turn on either. I dont know if its a fuse thats blown or the factory wiring has been messed up. Please help.

Thanks.

In the DIY section, there is a thread called Online Manuals. You can download a 94 shop manual that will have tests to do on the car's wiring harness. You will need a volt meter to do this.
