struts maybe something else?

Anyways, so the creaking sound went away, but I thought i'd take a look for good measure. I did that test and when I turn the wheels when its jacked up and no creaking. I sprayed silicone on the two bushings for the heck of it. One weird thing did happen though. On the passenger front side when I was going to put the tire back on, I noticed I couldn't. It appeared as though it lowered. It confused me because I had jack stands so I don't know how it could have lowered? Anybody know why the hub (not sure if that's the term) dropped a bit? Could that be a problem? sigh.

I know that my car hits the jack stands it still goes down another 4-5 inches. I think it's just weight being transferred from the back to the front, using the jack stands as a fulcrum.

Oh ok that makes sense. So why did my car stop creaking? Could it have been b/c it was really cold out at the time?
