There is no axle on your accord.

The CV joint has splines on each end. One goes into the knuckle. The other end will go into the transmission or the intermediate shaft. I'm not sure if your accord has an intermediate shaft.

Do you just want to replace one end?

#1 and #2 are the entire CV joint.

Default ya

I just need to stop the clicking noise and put a new cv boot in rather then fully replace the whole thing if possible.

Axles are really cheap
I think mine was around $50
It is much more work to just change the CV joint

What I am saying that the whole axle is $50, how much do you think you could save by replacing just the cv joint?

On top of that the labor to pull the axle apart and install a new cv joint will be much more than anything you might save by replacing just the joint.

Shops r quoting me like three hundred. So it would cost more to just do parts of it?
