Sunroof Weather Strip

Is it an aftermarket sunroof? The factory one slides under.

I dunno, it was on the car when I bought it.. it looks factory to me.. maybe? they did a good job on the install if its aftermarket

Not my car, but the red line shows the weather stripping that goes around the entire opening, the glass "sits" on when closed.. The yellow line is where mine is tore (but on the back, not the front) -- The weather stripping is shaped, and it pressed on and glued. It presses on like the rubber molding around a door opening.

I had a 1998 which is the next generation. So I guess I don't know for sure that the factory one slides under or over for 1997. I was also going by the on-line parts places where the 1997 sedan LX-V6 doesn't seem to have a sunroof.

I may just have to do some measuring and search around until I find something close to that for rubber trim/seal molding

My 95 accord glass slid into the roof. That is an aftermarket sunroof.
