Sway bar bushings??
maro, you can hear them CLACK CLACK going over bumps, and visually see the rubbers are missing.
if you are having problems, it doesn't cost anything to start your very own thread.

Enlarging the picture i can now see that you got the washers installed wrong,, the curved part should go toward the rubber bushing ,, they look upside down to me

Just was wondering. I'm trying to make a mental note of every GTH thread on this site so I can drive my self crazy while driving home and listening te every little nook and crany of a sound. Thanks!
Yo Dude my friend.. we did get snow in Mt lemmon and a bit in town // but that did not make me snowblind at all
the curved part should be toward the rubber and it looks like it is the other way around away from the rubber .. the way it is , when the nuts are tighten up all the way the washer will cut into the rubber ,, look at it again
and oh yeah you still are young and hansome ,, uhm uhm ...
I cannot upload my pic file is too large ,otherwise you could see how young and hansome i still am even after working on Hondas for all those years
so Bond will have to do ...
actually my pic is on my profile ..

Ok.. i am going to say it for the last time and put it to rest , if you want to take my advice fine and if not it is ok as well..
I do not know who put that link together but washers are installed the wrong way
the washers are upside down, the curved part goes toward the rubber ...I have done and seen hundreds of these
if you have a chance, look under another accord car and compare it ..

I changed these bushings recently. Each of theOEM bushings on our car consisited of 13 pieces - 4 rubber bushings, 4 big washers, 1 nut, 1 bolt, 1 spacer to separate each "set" of bushings at each end, and 2 more spacers that sit INSIDE the two "sets" of rubber bushings.
The first set of bushings I bought did not have those last two spacers that Imentioned above, so it was possible to tighten the nut down to flatten the rubber bushings beyond all reason. So after installing this first set, I had exactly the same question - How much do I tighten these suckers, anyway? (And howwill they stay that way?)
I bought another set of bushings from another aftermarket parts place, and this set had all of the necessary parts -including those spacers inside the rubber bushings, so Iwas able to tighten the nut right to the point where the nut would no longer turn. Then I tightened further maybe an eigth of a turn and that was that.
I think it's important to get a set of bushings that has all the pieces as the original set. There are some inferior parts out there and it's up to us to realize that that's the case.

Alright, I flipped the washers over so they are'nt digging into the bushing. Thanks Desert and HondaDude for helping me get to the bottom of this.
