Question Thermostat Housing Help

My local shop wants $190.00 to replace the thermostat housing gasket on my 1996 Accord LX. That does come with new thermostat, gaskets and coolant. I can do this my self because I have allready repalced the thermostat a month ago. Does anyone have instructions on changing the housing gaskets? Do I need sealer along with the gaskets or does it just bolt up with gaskets only?

No sealant is necessary. Its not too difficult to do.

Drain coolant, unbolt thermostat housing, replace gasket, bolt back on. When refilling coolant, open 12mm bleed valve on top of thermostat housing, refill radiator, close valve when air stops spitting out, top off radiator.

Online manuals thread in the DIY section has links to sites with a 94 shop manual that will help with DIY work.

I thought the gasket on that one is just the seal that goes around the thermostat and there is an O-ring under the other housing if it is the same as the 95 Accord.

That is correct. I don't know which one he has to replace.
