Default Are these the right Pressure Readings?

i have 30 Psi on my low side a/c line.... is that right? it says at ambient temp (85 in my garage) with the car on, and full blower motor, it says it should be between 40 - 55 psi, on low side, and i think it would be colder if it were at a higher pressure.... is just barely 30 ok?

Again I'm not an expert when it come to AC readings...TX might chime in. With what you have and only on the low side....doesn't seem too bad.

What issue are you having? There are things like blend door adjustments that can "hinder" AC performance on this gen Accord. Would really like to know the High side? Some places rent ac gauges, you get your money back when you return it.

Was the car cooling good? At 30 psi, cooling should be good if charge is adequate. If not high side is probably too low. That's why you can't judge charge w/ only low side pressure. Was compressor cycling on/off or running full time?

How was pressure taken, idling or engine at 1500-2000 rpm? What were AC system settings?

Sorry for questions, but info is necessary to provide some guidance.

good luck

TX-Thanks!

OP- IMO, answer and follow TX. I'll leave this alone from here....as I said, I'm not an ac expert and if I had questions I would serach for posts from or seek guidence from TX....

it was at idle, and i heard the compressor on for awhile then it would turn off, but a minute later it would come back on, i had it on full speed but im not sure what the temp is at the vent, i know it can get colder because my dad has a 4 cyl ford with the same type of system, and his is like ICE

Make sure your heater core valve is closing fully. It's on firewall behind distributor. Turn heater control **** from hot to cold and check movement fully closes valve. If valve is open, then you won't get good cooling.

good luck

Yep. There will be two coolant hoses going into the firewall on the passenger side of the car sort of towards the middle. One will have an arm with a cable attached. That will move and open/close hot coolant to the heater core.
