Throttle

Here's my problem....when i first start my car in the morning its fine you know it idels alittle high like 2100....and once i hit the gas...my cars rpm's start to just from like 1500 to 2100 for awhile...now im thinking its the throttle position sensor...but not sure...so help me out

another problem is that when i turn right...there is a strange noise from the left axle....i just replaced the axles when i got a new tranny...its more of a clucking sound? any suggestions

Put your vehicle information into your signature so we know exactly what motor/tranny etc we're working with...

alright well there it is...so what do ya think....could it be the map sensor cuz when i unplug it ...it like resets itself but it will come back after a little bit

Under our DIY section there is a post on surging idle that may help. A quick clean on the FITV may yeild some good results.

As for the clunking sound can you be a bit more specific about when it happens vs. when it doesn't?

well i dontk now what the FITV means...sorry let me know and the clunking sounds only when im making a right turn...and maybe a little when i turn left but not as bad

This is quite a rare problem but easily fixed, remove the chicken.

This is quite a rare problem but easily fixed, remove the chicken.
*L* nice johnL.... I didn't really catch that one at first....

Is it a one time loud like "CLUNK" or does it repeatedly do it?

well its a repeated clunk till the wheel is straight and then nothing...its only when im turning right its loud
