Throttle Cable Issues
Hey guys, I'm new to cars in all n not sure if I posted in correct section. Well my throttle cable is very slack. It is loose where the cable enters the passenger side firewall. I have tried adjusting the two bolts/nuts that contol the tension of the cable but the chord is still slack. I assume that the slackness of the chord is the reason why my car jerks while it shifts through gears. I tried to adjust the cable near the firewall but it won't stay in the firewall. Is there something broken in between the gas pedal and the firewall?
Thank u in advance for all assistance.

The throttle cable and AT throttle control cable must be adjusted together to get throttle plate and throttle control arm to begin moving at same time.
See DIY forum, Online Manuals post for download manual for 94-97 Accords. This has adjustment procedures.
Throttle stop screw should not be adjusted.
good luck
