Default Timing and Bearings

2003 4cyl auto EX

All this talk about timing belts! I have a timing chain, don't I? Any maintenance required on a timing chain?

82k miles. Aren't there some bearings somewhere that need attention sooner or later? I'm talking about wheel bearings.

Thanks
LVP

There is no maintenance on a timing chain that I know of.

As for wheel bearings, you should only have to replace them if they start making noise when driving.

Timing chains are like piston rings or main bearings. You don't replace them on any kind of schedule, but after 400,000 miles that stuff tends to wear out.
