Default Timing Belt/Chain Questions

Hey all, I'm new to the group so thanks for having me. I just bought my wife a 04 Accord LX (4 cyl/automatic) and I'm trying to figure out when to change out the timing belt/chain. The owner's manual has been little help so I'm turning to the forum's expertise. The car is not driven in extreme conditions and is approaching 55k miles. Any advice on what to do or when to do it? Thanks!

The 4 cylinder engine has a timing "chain", and it should last the life of the engine. No need to change it, ever.

Just to clarify, you are saying a 94 has a timing chain and a 97 has a timing belt???
I thought those had the same motor as they are of the same 'generation'

What?
We are talking about a "2004" 4 cylinder Accord. Who said anything about 94, or 97? They both have belts, by the way.

My bad -- I read it as a 1994.
