Default timing belt change

Good day to you all, I am using accord 98, auto transmission, 4cylinders, Lx. 2.3L. Please i want to know when the timing belt was last changed and and if the car was factory fitted with AC. The vehicle VIN is: 1HGCG5648WA018024. The mileage on the car now is 212,000. It was bought in 2012 with mileage 201,000. Hope to hear from you guys soon. Thanks

There is no way to be sure when the belt was changed last or if it has ever been changed. At that mileage it is likely. You may be able to find some evidence of a timing belt change; paint timing marks on belt or belt brand (usually disappears w/ use).

If you don't know when the belt was last changed (contact previous owner), then change the timing belt to avoid potential engine damage if belt breaks.

You have American made Accord, 4-dr sedan automatic, DX or LX trim, Maryville, OH plant. It does not tell whether AC was installed at factory or dealer.

good luck
